Stanley Capital Partners (“Stanley” / “SCP”), the specialist healthcare and resource efficiency private equity investor, is delighted to announce further expansion of its team with the additions of James Sexton and Frederik Fogtdal to the positions of Principal.
James joins Stanley’s Growth and Investor Relations team with a key focus on fundraising activities while Frederik will strengthen Stanley’s Transformation team, working with portfolio companies to develop operational efficiencies and drive growth.
SCP is a fast-growing European-focused mid-market private equity firm with proven expertise in finding and building value locked up in businesses within the select growth markets of Healthcare and Resource Efficiency, using Technology through its own innovative SCP Digital platform as an enabler.
James started his career as an investment consultant at Aon Hewitt, advising its institutional clients on their private market portfolios. He then went on to develop his career in a range of investor relations and fundraising facing roles including with BC Partners, OMERS, Rede Partners and Investcorp. At Investcorp, James was responsible for leading projects across multiple private equity strategies including primary fundraises, co-investments and secondaries. James holds a degree in Economics from Durham University and is also a CFA Charterholder.
Frederik was most recently at Alvarez and Marsal in London where he was a Director for Private Equity Services. During this period, he was part of their private equity performance improvement initiatives in London, working across various industries, including technology, industrial engineering, aerospace, B2B and B2C retail sectors. He had a primary focus on post-merger integrations, transformation, post-deal value creation and due diligence activities. with brand name private equity clients. He holds a Masters degree from Columbia University in New York.
These new hires add continued momentum to Stanley’s extremely busy start to 2023 with a series of appointments and promotions to further bolster its investment and operations teams.
